This week in kindergarten!

We started our week by working on our class stories! We are writing a sequel to a book we read in class. We have had some amazing ideas and creative imaginations come to life! I'm not giving away any parts of our story yet, so you will have to wait a bit longer!

We then begin Our Teeth Eggsperiment. We are soaking hard boiled eggs in milk, juice, coffee, and soda to see what sugary drinks do to our teeth. We are also soaking an egg in vinegar. We will compare this to what our Teeth are like when we get cavities! Students are making predictions and then seeing what really happens to the eggs! We will look at them again next week and try to brush them. 

We also started to talk about Dr. Seuss and explore the book Cat in the Hat. We will continue reading Dr. Seuss books into next week. Today, students created their own Cat in the Hat art work!
